Former Vista Del Lago High School standout Morgan Hayhurst played a key role as her current collegiate squad, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, secured a 7-1 win against the North Georgia Nighthawks in the NCAA Division II Tournament on Saturday, May 30.
The matchup was held at Jim Frost Stadium, starting at 9 p.m.
The Cougars are set to play again at Jim Frost Stadium on Sunday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m.
