CITY OF FOLSOM: Andy Morin Sports Complex Open

Sports

City of Folsom issued the following announcement on Oct.

The Andy Morin Sports Complex reopened for public use October 19. The hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. As Sacramento County has been allowed to move further into California’s less restrictive Red Tier 2 (substantial), the county’s Health Order has been amended to allow certain facilities like the sports complex to reopen. Face masks/cloth face coverings are required to enter and must be worn inside the sports complex, and social distancing must be maintained. Staff will be monitoring to ensure that the required COVID-19 mitigation measures are maintained at all times and will frequently sanitize high-touch areas in the facility.

The sports complex currently offers drop-in table tennis, pickleball, basketball, and batting cages; and rentals for the pitching tunnel, soccer field, and basketball courts. Batting cage users must supply their own equipment (bat and helmet). All organized rentals must submit a Return to Play Guidelines Plan for staff review and approval.

The City of Folsom is following public health guidelines provided by local, state, and federal officials. As these guidelines evolve, the hours of operation and amenities/programs at the Andy Morin Sports Complex may change. The sports complex is located at 66 Clarksville Road, call 916-461-6650 for more information.
