Census Bureau: 76.3% of people in Sacramento County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 1,571,767 citizens living in Sacramento County in 2021, 76.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,199,220 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 582,156 were male, constituting 48.5%, and 617,064 were female, making up 51.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Sacramento County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.2%.
